What is a custom masking kit?
A custom masking kit is a matched set of plugs, caps, tapes and die-cut shapes - sized and selected specifically for one part number - packaged together so operators don't need to select or size individual components on the line.
How is a kit built for my part?
Send a drawing or sample part along with your process (powder coating, plating, anodizing, etc.) and temperature requirements. We identify every feature that needs protection and match the right component to each one, then package the set as a kit.
Does kitting cost more than buying components separately?
Per-kit cost is generally higher than bulk components, but total cost of ownership is often lower once you account for reduced masking errors, faster changeover and less rework from missed features.
