Three inspection gates· 01

How defects get caught early.

Gate 1 — incoming material

Silicone compound, film stock and adhesive systems are verified against their material certificates before they enter production. For silicone we confirm hardness and cure behaviour on sample batches; for tapes we verify backing thickness and adhesion values against the grade specification. Material that cannot be traced to a certificate does not enter the floor — that rule is absolute, because everything downstream depends on it.

Gate 2 — in-process checks

During molding runs, operators check dimensional samples against the drawing at set intervals — diameters, flange thickness, pull-tab integrity — and the first article of every die-cutting setup is measured before the run continues. Temperature-critical products get periodic oven-cycle spot checks: a sample plug or tape strip goes through a representative bake and must release cleanly. Catching a drifting dimension mid-run costs minutes; catching it at final inspection costs the batch.

Gate 3 — outgoing verification

Finished orders are inspected against the order specification before packing: dimensions on a sampling plan, visual checks for molding defects or slitting burrs, count verification on kits. Inspection records are retained per order, outgoing photos are available on request before dispatch, and certificates of conformity ship with the documents. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV) is welcome at any gate — buyers arrange it, we cooperate fully.
