Aluminum Foil Thermal Spray Tape

This aluminum foil-backed tape is purpose-built for flame spray, plasma spray and thermal spray coating processes - which involve molten or semi-molten particle streams far hotter than powder coating or e-coating ovens, and would destroy standard high-temperature tape almost instantly.

Aluminum foil backing gives the highest heat and particle-impact resistance for flame spray, plasma spray and HVOF coating work. It's commonly specified for aerospace component coating and turbine part refurbishment.

Because this tape costs more per meter than standard PET or polyimide tape, it's typically reserved for genuine thermal/flame spray work - for standard powder coating, PET or polyimide tape remains the more cost-effective choice.
