This surface protection film covers large flat areas during transport, storage, or painting, keeping dust, overspray and scuffing off the finished surface until it's ready for use. It tolerates elevated temperatures during bake cycles without the adhesive transferring to the protected surface.
Pre-taped film (film with an adhesive edge strip already applied) speeds up large-area application versus separately taping film edges by hand. Plain protection film without adhesive suits temporary covering during transport or storage where no edge seal is needed.
Choose adhesion strength based on dwell time: light-tack film for short protection periods removes with zero residue risk, while stronger adhesion suits film that will stay in place through a full paint or coating cycle.
