How it is made & specified.

This protective end cap seals a tube, pipe or fitting opening during transport, storage, plating or coating, keeping contamination out and threads or sealing surfaces undamaged. It is built for general-purpose sealing rather than high-temperature process exposure depending on the material grade selected.

Vinyl and soft push-in caps suit lower-cost, general dust and moisture protection during transport and storage. Threaded caps give a more secure seal on pipe fittings that see handling or vibration before the part reaches its next process step.

Available in standard imperial and metric sizes, or custom-molded to match a specific fitting profile for repeat-production parts.
